I wonder what are advantages of Nitroshare over Teleport https://gitlab.gnome.org/jsparber/teleport and if both can be compatible to work together?

From reading the README, it appears that NitroShare offers the following advantages:

  • The ability to send multiple files and entire directories
  • TLS encryption
  • Local API for integration with file managers
  • cross-platform compatibility (macOS, Windows, Android)

The version of NitroShare currently in development will add even more features:

  • The ability to send URLs
  • Estimated time remaining / transfer speed
  • Plugin system for adding new features
  • Runs headless (with no GUI)

How about a protocol? Is it possible to make both compatible?
