Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
At the moment, the migration is (more or less) complicated.

Describe the solution you'd like
A script which will migrate the current setup until a git tag which can be passed as argument.

Describe alternatives you've considered
...

Additional context
Required:

File is required in which there will be a machine readable listing of all tags/releases and their type (xml/json etc.)
