Since the repo was last updated a year ago, the LUTs for ETS2 are out of date as they don't include Scandinavia and Vive le France ! as far as I can tell. How can I generate new LUTs for the map DLCs, as well as for ATS?

These were not generated, by hand crafted by looking up the models in the map editor and copying over the asset name corresponding to that ID.

Unfortunately an unworkable solution which should be addressed, but given the map format I'm not sure what other data is there to be mined.

Hello @nlhans

I am working to revive your SimShift project. I am really excited to try the Adaptive Cruise Control.

I can update the LUT, but I'm struggling to find their "asset name" in the map editor.

Would I find these in the Content Browser? I cannot seem to locate these asset names for any of the companies, roads, cities, or prefabs ...

I manually filled the LUT whenever the map engine says it is missing an entity in the LUT. I would look up the entry manually in the map editor and then link the right prefab.

This is unfortunately very labor intensive, and since then I also haven't looked into a better way of read this information from the game files.

A similar thing is applicable for Adaptive Cruise Control, which has several memory scanning techniques which were broken many versions ago.
I think your best bet is to downgrade ETS to the game version 1.19.

OK, gotcha. We made it just part of the installing instructions to fallback to 1.19. Thank you for letting me know! I am so excited to get this thing working to try out the ACC. Just that minimap by itself is one of the coolest things I've ever seen for this game!
