seems quite a neat infrastructure already -- might be useful to adopt for nmind review/badging process? FWIW we just started to fill out one for the DataLad project OpenSSF Best Practices: DataLad

Nice find. I don't think it's quite 1:1 to what we're doing here, but there's a lot of overlap. We could save ourselves a lot of work if we strip out all the overlap and require an OpenSSF Best Practices Badge instead of the individual items
