PaHM considers the presence of multiple TCs in the basin, by the means of reading multiple storm tracks. If at a location, more than one storm modulates the wind field then, PaHM uses a simple IDW interpolation approach to calculate the wind data at that location. May be more physics based approach is required for the calculation of the modulated wind fields as processes like: the smallest TC vortex might start spinning around the larger one or, the two vortexes merge are not considered in PaHM.
