RetroArch has 7000+ files to download (mostly theme images) which would take an eternity to do through SDSetup. The solution will be to create an 'installer' homebrew that extracts a zipped file to the sd card when run then deletes itself, which would mean only 2 files need to be downloaded (thanks for the idea WerWolv).

Until I get that done, I've disabled RetroNX downloads as I don't want to promote outdated software.

Installer is basically finished, so Retroarch will be back on SDSetup when SDFiles v10 is out.

Github wont accept my 128mb retroarch .zip so I'm going to need to move to a proper file host before I can get this on SDSetup.

Files are now hosted on Wasabi, meaning RetroArch is back. 🎉
