Unfocusing Splits After Deleting With Keyboard

Describe the bug
If you try using the program using a keyboard and then proceed to delete a split, you won't be focusing on any splits anymore causing you to need to use your mouse to click on another split to use the keyboard again.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Focus on a split and use the keyboard to navigate splits
2. Delete split focusing on
3. Notice you have to use your mouse to select another split
4. Cry over slight time loss of moving hands from keyboard to mouse

Expected behavior
The program should focus on some split after deleting a split or really if anything happens in the program the user should always be able to use the keyboard.

Additional context
I only really had an issue with this because I was trying to delete a bunch of splits at once and I realized that its hard if I have to keep switching from keyboard to mouse to do it or only use the mouse. If I could only use the keyboard the process would go much faster.
