I figured I'd show up with a bunch of T2s and toys and just let people hack :) Usually works well– I point them to start.tessel.io to learn how and then people tend to take off from there.

Alright, I added the checklist, let's see how this works out! I'll take venue selection. I've already started chatting with a few people.

Who would like to take on which tasks? @Frijol perhaps you could take on creating the meetup.com event?

Checking in on this – here's the meetup link: http://www.meetup.com/nodebotssf/events/224916005/

Sounds like @nebrius is out of town but @melanielok and I are both going for sure. I believe @johnnyman727 and @timcameronryan are also coming to help run the T2 hack. Maybe also @jiahuang @kevinmehall?

For Nodebots meetup readiness, any updates re the checklist above?

In terms of hardware readiness, I'll bring Tessel 2s and accelerometer, climate, ir, relay, and servo modules per tessel/hardware-modules#7.

We will be using http://tessel.github.io/t2-start/

To do from my end:

  • Make sure http://tessel.github.io/t2-start/ is ready/not buggy
  • Update the firmware for all the T2s with t2 update -f
  • Re-publish CLI & do a firmware release (@johnnyman727)
  • Neatly organize the hardware I'm bringing, get stickers, make a checkout list

I got the sponsor on the website, and I'll follow up with New Relic later today, cc'ing some others on it so everyone knows who's who.
