Hello amazing people,

I just wanted to know if the certification is still expected to be available to general public from March 2018 (or perhaps the first half of 2018).

I'll have some extra time on my hands in the next 4 months so I'm trying to decide how I'm gonna spend it. It would be great if you could confirm that the certification will be ready in the first half of 2018 so I could go right to studying.

There probably should have been a bit more info in that README timeline update. I am only just getting involved in the certification development process over the last couple of weeks and helping where I can so my info may be a bit incomplete but my understanding is that the certification will come out this year and as soon as possible but the exact timeline is a bit fuzzy at the moment. Something that could be helpful to you is some info on the current RFP process for ongoing support of the certification program which you can learn more about here. I hope that is minimally helpful to at least assure you that work is still ongoing and we are moving toward having a certification program soon.

Thanks, Kris! Really I'm just hoping for a chance to be able to actually add the certification to my resume soon as I'm going to be seeking out a new job this fall. 😉
