General help questions should be submitted to the nodejs/help repo instead.

@rebecca-eujin Sorry, the link is fixed now.

It looks like someone is/was already helping you in the help repo?

It is DIFFERENT question. Rather than just transferring to nodejs/help I will be appreciated if you can provide help to THIS question.

However when I try to run npm -v it showed that npm is not found

npm is a separate program, it's in deps/npm. The installer normally installs it for you but if you copy things by hand, you'll have to manually copy over npm as well.

At any rate, and like @mscdex said, this should go to nodejs/help because it's not an issue with node itself, just your local setup.

I have manually copied over npm as well.
Followed this instruction bellow
https://gitlab.nanos.io/jc3mp/node/commit/a4b80000293c6874e68ba11ca5ba8e4969170a86
However it did not work as well.

Those are Android NDK installation instructions, so they're unlikely to work particularly well. Your issues with node and npm are probably related. Try nodejs/help#629 (comment) and let me know if it works.

In any case, please continue the conversation in nodejs/help.
