Is there any automation that keeps this mirror up to date, or is it manual at the moment?

I used a script to remove all irrelevant branches from the fork but the update is manual.

It's still unclear to me if we are going to use this repo to update branches that are no longer maintained in the V8 project?

That's my goal, but have been swamped by quite a few things to get things kickstarted. I wanted to check current status.
