Preferred Way to Create/Document Resource-Level Vendor Extensions

Is there an example someone could point me to where a Resource-level vendor attribute is created when generating the swagger spec? I've tried the various permutations available in the documentation but none have worked - the vendor extension is never generated in the spec.

Has anyone been able to get this to work?
