After firing, if not all torches are successfully generated, the remaining ones will exist in the form of multitorch items and can be picked up again.

In other words, the items left behind after the failed generation of multitorch should be torch rather than multitorch.

That is correct.
We did not take the multitorch into thought. I will correct that shortly.
