not working when using speech to text

Description of the Issue

speech to text input ignored

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1. use Nuance Dragon professional/individual
2. speak anything you want
3. only in notepad++ no recording [writing] of spoken text occurs

Expected Behavior

like any other text app, react to nuance Dragon text output and actually show the text of the spoken words

Actual Behavior

nothing. unlike any other [input accepting] text app i.e. Notepad Word, Excel, Browsers, etc. Notepad++ Totally ignores all

A N++ user probably has found a solution before:

It could be beneficial to know, in which N++ version it stops working (from that Community report is clear that it is a N++ version older than the v8.1.9.3). There is N++ repository, so you can try older N++ portable versions to find in which one it is still working ok. Then we can look at the changes in between the last working and the first non-working one.
