Feature request: larger width for the caret (vertical bar)

FEATURE REQUEST

I am working on a high-dpi (4K) 17" inches screen and I think the caret is too thin to be easily spotted.

Even after increasing its width to 3, that is currently the maximum size allowed by Notepad++, the caret is not visible.

Feature request: increase the maximum width of the caret (vertical bar).

It seems that it is currently possible using plugins and some "programming", but I think that it might be helpful to have such a basic setting in the default app.
