Description of the Issue

corporate onedrive prohibits the syncing of .bak or .bkp suffixed files.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

  1. create a file and save
  2. modify and save
  3. .bak file is created

Expected Behavior

it would be great to be able to select or define the alternative suffix for the backup file so that it would get synced to the cloud.

Actual Behavior

Maybe this is a silly question, but how does a .bak extension on a file keep it from "getting synched to the cloud"?

onedrive has been configured to exclude given file types including .tmp and .bak, so if the intent is to also retain the .bak files, then it wont be possible unless i could opt to an alternative filetype suffix e.g. .dat or .void
