Desktop Icon removed after update

Description of the Issue

Whenever I update the application my desktop shortcut is removed

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1. Just do an update

Expected Behavior

I expected the shortcut to be restored after the update

Actual Behavior

No desktop shortcut
