Description of the Issue

Sometimes when I save a new file, Notepad++ will crash. The file does get created, but the application pauses and then closes (any other open unsaved work is lost).

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

So far, I haven't been able to consistently recreate the issue.

  1. File -> New to create a new document
  2. Type some text
  3. Save the file somewhere

Expected Behavior

Not crashing.

Actual Behavior

Crashing.

Without having a consistent way of reproducing it might be hard to find out what is causing it.
My first guess would be that one of the plugins used might be the culprit because I would expect much more reports like this if npp itself is the source of the problem. If possible, use npp without plugins and see
if you can recreate such an crash. In case you are, try to report as detailed as possible what has been done at this time.
Btw. if a crash happens I would expect that you are able to see crash details report. Is this created in your case?
