Ubuntu 12.04 - npm install Socket.io fails

First time working with Node, npm, and Drupal. Haha. But I'm hoping someone out there can help me with this. Trying to setup the Node.js integration module, but I'm unable to install socket.io (Seeing a 404 for socket.io.js)

I've tried updating to the latest versions of node.js and npm just to be sure.

Let us know if this is still a problem with the latest version of node and npm. Sorry nobody was able to help you when you originally posted it.
