Error while unistalling phonegap

I am using ubuntu 12.04. I want to uninstall phonegap but getting below error.

Node.js 0.6 is several years old and no longer supported. Try updating to the latest release at nodejs.org

npm 1.4.14 and before has problems with complex installs like phonegap
