    [ ] bug report
    [x] feature request
[ ] question about the decisions made in the repository
[ ] question about how to use this project

  • Summary

Add new commands that are new and exclusive to the HD Extreme (e.g. dynamic range).
Support new protocols for existing commands (e.g. format: adds slot and name parameters).

  • Other information (e.g. detailed explanation, stacktraces, related issues, suggestions how to fix, links for us to have context, eg. StackOverflow, personal fork, etc.)

We are unlikely to add support for this ourselves, as we do not have access to one of these devices but are happy to accept a pr which implements it

Ok. I don't have access to one myself either, so this was more to flag up the requirement, rather than reflect a specific need.

this should be improved by #25.
I havent added much new things, but I have removed the SlotId enum, as I think it adds more complication than it helps with, now that most models have more than 2 slots, I dont know how high it can go now.
The 8K video formats are added, but are untested.

For anything else, I don't think it is explicitly for the extreme, and more likely to apply to all newer models.
