They go on forever. Nodrak has stated this is a bug as he added a projectile timer to all the other projectiles.

As fun as it is, having thousands of objects constantly moving around and constantly being created with no cap is an issue.

Still exists, not too major as emitter beams delete themselves if they hit stuff, and there's lots of stuff in space.

No way as major as floortile disposal loops were.
