Compatibility with various Polygon protocols #3463

We have at lease one adopter building their own chain via Polygon CDK (with Celestia for data availability)
Polygon PoS, which TACo nodes already read state from, is evolving into a zk validium
Adopters may also choose to build on Polygon zkEVM or Miden
Polygon AggLayer aiming for cross-chain communication (at least to/from their own protocols and CDK chains) by end of 2024

Questions:

Is it worth just waiting for the AggLayer, rather than extending our nodes to read from protocols beyond PoS?
What changes would be required to read from a CDK chain?
