This might be a feature request - I don't know.
When you have two or more tabs open in the file manager (Nautilus or Nemo), and you move or copy an item to another tab by drag & drop, the expected behavior is that the target tab is highlighted - so you know better when you can let it go.

Using Numix in Linux Mint Cinnamon 19 (gtk-3.22) I don't see any such indication.
It would be very nice to have this fixed.

It works on Ubuntu with Nautilus. Perhaps a issue with Mint ?

Then it must be because of the differences between Nautilus and Nemo file managers, which probably needs a Nemo-specific fix.
