Everpad completely freezes Unity in Ubuntu 12.10 #35

Using the latest Everpad (32bit) in Ubuntu 12.10, currently in beta, completely freezes Unity. I've tested it in VirtualBox and on a laptop, both with the same result. This is a fresh Everpad install and as soon as I click "Settings and Management" in the appindicator, the computer freezes completely and there's no way to recover it except for a reset.

Unfortunately I can't debug it since everything freezes...

Try to run like 'LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 everpad' and test. If it's helped, vote for https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qt4-x11/+bug/1005677

Yes, this fixes it. Mmm I see this occurs even for VLC :/
