Binary rocks created from the rockspec does not contain the files under data/, which causes require('plenary.filetype').detect('...') to return empty strings while it should not.
Additional Context: I initially observed the problem on NixOS, since nixpkgs is using plenary from luarocks, packaged by @teto. The filetype detection problem prevents telescope from providing syntax highlight for Rust (and some other filetypes) files in :Telescope find_files. My current working workaround is to copy base.lua and builtin.lua to $HOME/.config/nvim/data/plenary/filetypes.
