Manifest file missing or unreadable when app is packaged in zip.

NWJS Version : 0.32.1
Operating System : Windows 10 x64

My application runs fine when they in a folder.
But I packaged them to zip.
I got a message:
Failed to load extension from: app.nw . Manifest file is missing or unreadable.
I follow the guide.
And package.json is at root in archived file.
I try use my legacy packaged application's package,json,But it can't work.
BTW.My legacy packaged application can run.

I have had the same problem. Maybe your application has non-ascii filenames.
I had two Japanese filenames. After I renamed them to ascii-only filenames, the problem has gone away in my case.

@takahiroyoshi Thanks, I find some Chinese finenames and rename to ascii.Now can open.
