i had the same issue with server arcor.de opening activity window, I got this:
so tried everything on smtp config side... still no success |

Same here - macOS 10.12.5 Beta 3 Can't connect to outlook.com (custom domain) via either Office 365 or IMAP settings. I have two factor authentication enabled but tried an app password. Also tried with a gmail account - authenticated fine via gmail but Nylas didn't connect - received the following error: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND localhost localhost:2578 I did use N1 some time ago but stopped when it went paid - didn't like the remote mail sync/cache but wanted to try it again. Unfortunately I can't .... |

I've encountered this issue for all versions up to and including 2.0.32. Gmail and G Suite accounts show the error: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND localhost localhost:2578 IMAP account to hostgator simply says it cannot connect to the server. |
I have this on arch linux connecting to an imap/smtp Outlook account. The exact same details work in Claws mail which suggests it's not an external issue. |

Is the issue related to a specific email provider (Gmail, Exchange, etc.)?
Related to custom IMAP account.
I am inserting all custome email provider credentials.
IMAP Server sub4.mail.dreamhost.com (IN Port 993/OUT 587)
I tried it with different customs accounts, used the correct mail server addresses as well as alternative email cluster server names. Each time I hit "Connect Account", the result is "We were unable to reach your mail provider. Please try again."
