Improve ChannelMetrics implementation

We are currently recording channel metrics on each sent message in NzymeChannelSender, and only on success. This updates the metrics way too often and also has them set to at least 1 all the time, because we just stuck a message into the channel and never update without a new message.

Run the metric calculations async.
