according to your guide

https://www.ovirt.org/documentation/how-to/guest-agent/install-the-guest-agent-in-debian/

after agent install, i must enable and start it with:

service ovirt-guest-agent enable && service ovirt-guest-agent start

but if i try on debian7/8 i have only:

root@xxxxxxxxx:~# service ovirt-guest-agent enable
Usage: /etc/init.d/ovirt-guest-agent {start|stop|status|restart|force-reload}

Since Debian 8, systemd is the default, so commands should be updated appropriately.

Yep, just to reporting the wrong info on debian guide ;)

The repository in the instructions no longer has any debian packages.

You need to use update-rc.d to enable services.

Also systemd instructions would be nice nowadays.
