Salut!
Just have installed Island 6 onto my Pixel 6a with Android 13.
The attempt to clone any app into Island immediately results in the ultimate demand to log in into Google Play.
Why?
It was anonymous before it, afair.
Can I have a non-google-bound island?
Thank you!

I miss this option, too. But, I think it's up to Google, not @oasisfeng

Okay: file shuttle is removed, file systems are absolutely separated for alternative file managers, googleplay is mandatory.

Why would one need island as a bad isolator container, so bad, one must either de-anon, or be totally discouraged? 😉

At least, SkvAlex with CallRecorder took a brave decision to make two builds: a limited one for gplay, and an unlimited one as a sideload apk.

It works for me by unselecting the "via Play Store" when trying to clone the app.

that worked for me thanks. Unselecting it was "tapping it" and it went a different colour, not a select box or something in case you are looking for that, like I was.

The next problem I have is that the only input ability I have that has come across is "google voice typing" which I find frustating at the best of times, let alone for input usernames and passwords into apps! haha.
