Improve Internal Discoverability #41

Sure, give me a few days, I will mostly complete going through the complete website and report the things which I found hard to navigate. |
I think this is probably outside of the scope of this project for now -- especially if this gets linked into ocaml.org at which point I think it will be covered by ocaml/ocaml.org#1174 |
I am sorry, but I didn't exactly understand the conversation going on there. |
Sorry, my fault, I wasn't clear just manically typing and overloaded use of the word "linked". Anil's response to Gargi asking about a search for discuss, mailing lists and ocaml.org:
The eventual future of Explore OCaml's content is hopefully to end up in (not linked as I said before) ocaml.org so this search should cover it meaning we don't need to roll our own and duplicate the amount of work. |
Ohh okay. Got it. So for now we should not worry about the searching, and we should focus on the workspaces. |
As @rudradesai200 mentioned in #39 we could add a sitemap or search functionality. I'd be interested to know what parts you were finding hard to navigate? I think if we could solve these problems without resorting to sitemaps or search it would be better.
I think there are definitely some areas of improvement, for example I think the rough and ready layout of the ocaml.org proposal improves upon the current layout: https://deploy-preview-27--ocaml-explore.netlify.app/ -- would love to know what you think :) ?
