Ocamldoc supports dot output, where you can visualize the dependency graph. This is really useful for large projects
Ideally I think instead of returning dot format, it would return a json of the dependency graph so that it's easy to ingest and could support multiple different formats. It's not the same as something like odoc json because that output wouldn't be returning the dependency graph

I have something like this in the works as part of work to support search functionality. This includes support for getting the dependencies from .ml files as well as .mli, which is more interesting for many use cases. In the case of search, this is going to be used to generate a global ranking for search results.
