Error: Port opam not found #2710

Hello, these days I'm trying to install opam and Ocaml in a MacOs (sierra) environment.
I initially tried with brew but I was receiving an error during the dependencies download.. (the latest version of Ocaml is installed but I think opam is not, would be good if I can check this in some way)
So I installed MacPorts:
I read that sudo port install opam should work but I'm receving the error in the title.

What can I do ?

Are you sure your package manager is up to date. The port seems to exist.
