How does your .gitignore look like? I don't have time to maintain this repo any more but PR would be appreciated if you do find the way to fix it. The logic isn't that complex: https://github.com/octref/RootIgnore/blob/master/plugin/RootIgnore.vim

Ah there is a line in my gitignore with a space in it Network Trash Folder. Might have alook sometime, but im not very expiernced with vimscript
