Thanks for providing updated apache2 builds! I was hoping to use your 2.4.9 apache2 build to use php5-fpm via UDS, but it turns out mod_proxy_fcgi from Apache 2.4.7 in the Ubuntu repos also has a bug and doesn’t support Unix sockets.

I am not the only one to find this problem and confirm his findings.

Would you consider including a build of the latest mod_proxy_fcgi in your repository until Ubuntu release an update please?

mod_proxy_fcgi is already there (in apache2 package), both in ppa:ondrej/php5 and ppa:ondrej/apache2.

So I don't understand what's the problem?

Very sorry, I hadn't realised I had to pin the PPA packages to get them installed. So I'd added the PPA, installed apache2 and assumed I was using your build. It wasn't, it was Ubuntu's 2.4.7 instead.

You shouldn't have to pin the packages unless there's already pinning enabled on your system. Anyway hope the packages helps...

That's very strange... it's a clean Ubuntu 14.04 image at Linode, so no other pinning present. I'll spin up another image later on and see if I can reproduce.
