Some functions seems to reimplement stdlib ones

I notices that some functions you wrote may be replaced by stdlib equivalent — if it’s not the case, then the comments need to tell how it’s different.

In file.rs:

• reorient_target_path seems to do the same thing than Path.canonicalize().
• link_target seems to do the same thing than Path.read_link().

It’s just something I stumbled upon while hacking on exa, but maybe there are a few other examples (though I don’t think there are many).
