Meet the Australia and New Zealand Open Research Network

By Cooper Smout, IGDORE
With: Matthew Ling, Pam Barhoun, Tom Johnstone

  • Theme: Past, Present and Future of Open Science
  • Format: Emergent session

Abstract

Open science and open research practices are growing, but discovering Open research can feel like an isolating experience. ANZORN is a mechanism to promote open science and open practices in our region, to build a sense of community amongst people who might otherwise feel like the only open researchers they know.
We aim to help you find like-minded folks, support efforts to reform institutional policies and practices, and educate others about open research. In this session, we'll talk about there ANZORN came from, what it's doing today, and where we see it going in the future.
