terminalapp plugin is broken. It's causing the following behaviour: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11146306/zsh-tab-completion-bug-on-ubuntu

Also, the whole functionality has been replaced by Mavericks natively.

We have two options: to remove the plugin completely or to detect an OS X version in it. I prefer the second and will try to fix the plugin.

What do you mean by "the whole functionality has been replaced by Mavericks natively"? I'm on Mavericks (and was on Yosemite for a while), and for me, Terminal.app doesn't see pwd updates unless oh-my-zsh updating of them is enabled. Do you have a reference, or an explanation of how Mavericks does it?
