It would be great if the frame rate adjustments didn't adjust the speed of everything in the game.
If things like animation speed, walking speed, battle speed, and scripted wait ticks, could all just either adjust to their new frame rate, or generally not be changed by the frame rate increase, I think people would actually be able to use that frame rate increase option more.

Yes, very much the plan.
Note battles always run at 18.3fps to avoid breaking, and that the walking (and walk-in-place) animation speed is now also framerate independent, so the only animations broken by framerate changes are tile animations (and scripted ones).
