Have you considered using openSuse Build Service for creating installation packages for other distros? https://build.opensuse.org/

A couple of us have had a look before but never in detail, it might be nice thing to have if one of us could find the time to looking at it. Do you have any experience of using it? If you do and are willing to help out that would be great
