UX for "edit" (improve this page)

I'm concerned that most users will never see the "edit" this page - hidden as it is on the right.

Could we do some very simple user testing to check this?

If it is a problem I suggest updating the template in some ways. Ideas:

• Highlighted the icon (e.g. in a special colour)
• Also insert text or button at the top of the text saying e.g. "You can improve this page". As this is intrusive maybe we want this only for special cases and have an option e.g. bigedit: true or some such
