Following config will pass the check and commit even if eslint task fails:

"scripts": {
    "eslint:fix": "eslint --fix",
    "git:add": "git add",
    "lint-staged": "lint-staged"
  },
  "lint-staged": {
    "*.js": ["eslint:fix", "git:add"]
  },
  "pre-commit": [
    "lint-staged"
  ]

It should stop after the first non-zero exit code apparently.
