Plugin has become unuseable. Does not display files uploaded or removed. Lags badly, and upon waiting too long makes everything on my Obsidian disappear. Upon restarting my obsidian view returns, however i have to quickly turn off the plugin. I'm not sure this isn't by my own fault. Recently i installed Breadcrumbs and that seemed to not play well with the metadata this plugin was reading. I'm not sure if that is the reason this started happening or not. After uninstalling that breadcrumbs and removing all of that metadata to my knowledge, this is still happening.

Sorry to hear that! How many notes do you have in your library? And how many are published or have the dg-publish attribute? The way I figure out whether a note has changed or not could be a bit computing intensive if you have a lot of notes with the dg-publish attribute.
Have you tried turning off all other plugins? It would be helpful to know if the problem still exists then.
Ah, sorry i didn't see this message till now!
I have 20,000 files in my vault.
According to a quick search, 18 files were published. One was very image heavy.
I've turned off the other plugins. The little terminal for DG does not display any files. After requesting it to update changed files anyway, its turned obsidian black again. Did not deploy at all.
Well, interestingly, it did deploy successfully when i updated the theme.
