How is performed the install, through the named filed in component.json or through the repo URL?

Component uses github as a module repository, so people will be able to install it with component install oncletom/tld.js.

You just need to edit the wiki page and add your component to the list, and it'll become searchable on component.io, you might want to add keywords and description in component.json to make it more relevant too (https://github.com/component/component/wiki/Spec)
