I noticed in the new version, cheesto.statusOptions is merging instead of replacing.

Merging is desired behavior. If the default options are not wanted, delete them from the defaults file. The fix for this will require a restructuring of how the configuration is built. This ties in with issue #37 dealing with a better configuration structure.
