What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make an occurrence field of type date or datetime
2. Use the keyboard to input an incorrect value (2011-55-55)
3. Save the value and reload the page. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The incorrect date is accepted without any message. There should be a 
validation failure message.
