Deployment to Tuckaway Farm for upcoming iFarm event -- what should be ready?

E.g.

  • Working temp sensor: greenhouse, freezer
  • Working doorbell
  • Riffle + radio --> OPK?

Make this list, then order associated materials ...

Alright, so here's a tentative list:

  • freezer monitor
  • greenhouse monitor
  • doorbell
  • depth sensor
  • soil moisture sensor

And the 'workshop / tutorial' can be to make a working freezer monitor.

Sound good? Additions / suggestions?

Additionally, here are some basic hardware configurations to demo:

  • [RPi] + [sensor, via USB]
  • [RPi] + [sensor, via shield / pins]
  • [RPi] + [microcontroller via USB] + [sensor]
  • [RPI] + [microcontroller vis USB] + [radio] ………… [radio] + [microcontroller] + [sensor]

For the workshop, we might go for the smiplest + most bang for the buck hardware:

  • [RPi] + [temper]

So maybe I'll just list out the above use-cases and hardware configurations, mix and match, and see if we can cover all the bases ...
