Text selection doesn't alter the PRIMARY clipboard

Issue Description

I'm selecting text on this spec but I cannot then middle-click afterward in text editor or such to retrieve the contents of the X PRIMARY clipboard because text is not copied.

Expected Result

That I select text on one page and then can middle-click paste it in another document, etc.

Hey, I'm afraid that this is something that is not really fixable on our side. We use Codemirror for the inline editors, and there is an issue open about this codemirror/codemirror5#249 which seem to be hard to fix.
