The PTB want us to disable the autostart of removable media within the Linux Live DVD

$ gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.media-handling autorun-never true

Also disable:

org.gnome.software allow-updates false
org.gnome.software download-updates false
org.gnome.software download-updates-notify false
